Many of our clients entrust their accounting and compliance to us. From the data that the bookkeeper processes, we obtain business intelligence. Business intelligence is a valuable component of the guidance we provide to our customers to facilitate their strategic decision-making.
So, we’re seeking a sharp, experienced, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and trustworthy person that aligns with this vision, purpose, and mission to join the team to contribute to the guidance we provide our clients.
You would be responsible to perform important bookkeeping and compliance tasks on client accounts, including data entry, A/R, A/P, reconciliations, payroll, and custom reports in QuickBooks Pro/Premier/ES, QuickBooks Online, Excel, and 3rd party connected apps.
Growing from a one person firm, we need someone who is flexible to start off working approximately 5 hrs per week, and is willing/able to work more hours as we need and grow (approx 10-25 hrs/wk). We’re somewhat flexible as to which day(s) and what hours. Starting pay is depending on experience and qualifications of course, and we’re expecting the range to be $17 – $20/hr.
Candidates should be very comfortable with technology (as we leverage it significantly), willing & able to learn new tools & systems, and be willing & able to document and follow procedures & methods. We work on clients’ books remotely from our (residential) office in Rapid City, SD. There may be a possibility to work remotely in the future, given appropriate circumstances.
